Base chassis of FO-2 ready

Base chassis of FO-2 is ready and test-sat(Picture). Next is tried to fit the engine and the seat in place. Manufacturing of spindles and other mechanical parts is in progress.

Sponsor agreement with Exel Composites

Otaniemi Flying Finns and Exel Composites have done a sponsor agreement that Exel will deliver composite tubes for the team.

Team arranges pre-Christmas party in Otaniemi in OK20. Team release the construction of the season 2010 car. All interested are welcome to join our party. Sauna is available with interesting chat about cars.

Manufacturing problems

The participation in Formula Student Austria has been cancelled due to delay of gearbox manufacturing. The team is trying to participate in Baltic Open.
Participation in Formula Student Austria

The team has been confirmed participation in FS Austria, which is held in Melk. The date of the competition is 12.-15.8.
The participation in Formula Student has been cancelled due to problems in structure equivalence form and delay of car manufacturing.
Preparations for Formula Student

Our own vehicle control unit has been in the design stage for close to a month now. It looks like we will be able to achieve all our control targets in stages building up to Formula Student. Our chassis material is in final testing and we will hopefully be sending in our final chassis material order to Ruukki week 13.
Participation in Baltic Open

Today our team confirmed our participation in Baltic Open, being held this year in Helsinki, at Malmi karting track on 20-21.8. Spectators are welcome to attend!

Our registration for Formula Student 2009 was just accepted! OFF's event calendar for 2009 will at least include Silverstone 16-19.7.2009 Our Formula Student Germany participation is unclear at the moment. Hopefully the organizers will resolve the registration discrepancies.
