Formula SAE (known as Formula Student in Great Britain) is a perennial racecar design competition. Multiple evaluation contests, participated by over 150 universities around the world, are held annually within the U.S. and Europe. Formula SAE was originally set off by car industry, in order to market jobs and to recruit top know-how in the field. Thanks to the successful format, Formula SAE's popularity keeps increasing and it is now attracting other instances besides automotive design companies.
